The Museum, holds different genuine memorabilia of Generations…
● Monetary Units at the Museum, viewed in the light of history, money reveals a panorama of artistic achievements, traditions, bemief, notable events, and social amd political changes of people. At the museum , we were able to view the collection of coins of the Spanish Regime, Reina Isabel (1863), Alfonso XII 50- Centavo coins, 10 centavo coins (1885) People Power Revolution Commmorative coin and Modern Phillipine Peso.
● Pictures and write-ups about the great sons of Capiz, the Roxas generations of leadership, dervice and integrity .
● Revealing the life of pPres. Manuel Roxas A. Roxas, the first President of the Phillipines rebuplic A. Soldiers, statesman, patriot, champion of demaracy, architecture and buider odf the nation. Obtained his law degree from UP, graduated class valedictorian and subsequently topped the first ever bar topnocher of the phillipine.
● It also shows the leadership, kindness and integrity of Sen. Gerry Roxas (1924-1982), Cong. Dinggoy Roxas (1960-1993) Sen. Mar Roxas (1987-dated).
● Photos showcase of the largest entnic group inhabiting Central Panay . the Panayanon Soludnon Ny Jose Bolante.
● Photos showcase of the churches od Capiz. Exhibits of paintings of the different artist like lino F. Villaruz and many more.
●It also display the plaque of awards of Roxas City as the Sea Food Capital of the Phillipinesour country awards from “Gawad Kalinga sa Kapaligiran” as the Cleanest and Grenest City in the Whole Phillipines.
● The Museum throught tines also keeps the demographic, tourism. Economic and of course the history of the City of Roxas and the Province of Capiz.
Indeed the Roxas City’s museum over the years humbly holds the precious treasures of Roxas City and Capiz, justifying the richness and unique culture and history of Roxas City and Capiz.
